Property features
Sailaway Cottage is a stunning, spacious property just outside Filey on a lovely holiday village offering a range of amenities for guests. Perfect for large families, two families or small groups it has four spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms and sleeps 8-10 guests plus an infant. Over the last few months we have refurbished the property to a high standard and it offers fresh modern interiors with up to date facilities. The living space is open plan with a fully equipped, smart new kitchen, all the furniture is brand new, including light fittings and accessories (some handmade especially for us). Free Wifi is available throughout the house
Kitchen
Our newly installed, well-equipped kitchen offers all the mod cons; a fridge freezer, electric oven and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer-dryer and wine cooler. There are three oak stools at the island so you can sit and socialise whilst the chef or chefs are at work! You will find all the cutlery, crockery and utensils you need for your stay.
Dining
A large oak top table, lit by two modern pendants, and 10 spindle back chairs provide plenty of space for everyone to enjoy meals together. We also have a highchair available for the smallest member of the family.
Lounge area
The spacious lounge area features a large corner sofa with coffee table. For those cooler evenings the log burner adds warmth and cosiness so you can snuggle up together. A sofa bed provides a further separate sitting area if you want to read a book or just enjoy some quiet time, this can cater for up to two extra guests on a double bed if needed.
Bathrooms
The family bathroom is modern and a good size with shower over the bath and heated towel rail. The jack and jill bathroom provides facilities for guests downstairs.
Outside
Through the bifold doors the lounge area leads to a large patio with table and chairs to seat eight. Opening the doors extends your living space even further and you can enjoy the sun most of the day (weather permitting!)
Beyond the patio is a communal, wide grassed area, enclosed by a boundary of trees and shrubs which guest are free to enjoy. (neighbouring properties have access to this too) If you enjoy wildlife spotting then this is the place for you as you will almost certainly see rabbits, birds and squirrels up close, even deer have been known to visit at certain times of the year
The master bedroom
A very spacious room with a handmade superking sized bed and luxury Eve mattress. Guests can enjoy the smart tv, fridge and coffee machine provided. The ensuite wetroom is large and features a powerful shower, heated towel rail and plenty of storage.
Stretching the whole length of the room, the balcony is the icing on the cake and gives you amazing views of the sea, Bempton Cliffs and the meadows. With two rattan chairs and a table provided it is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast, especially when the sun shines!
There are built in wardrobes giving plenty of space for your stay and the two armchairs and coffee table allow you to relax and enjoy the view from inside.
The king sized bedroom downstairs has a handmade bed with luxury Eve mattress, a freestanding double wardrobe and velvet chair with coffee table. From the bedroom you have direct access to a jack and jill style shower room., perfect for those who need more accessible accommodation.
Upstairs you will find two more twin bedrooms, the mattresses zip link to create superking sized beds as and when required. There is a fitted wardrobe in each room incorporating a chest of drawers, a separate dressing table and chair and smart tv offering a good choice of chanels.
